BEWARE: Toxic Relationship!

Updated: Jun 6, 2023

These sweet little cakes look like a treat to share with those you love, but they are full of TOXIC ingredients!

These are NOT food! Instead of inspiring the twitterpation of love, these cakes might just be inducing heart disease!

One serving of Little Debbie Snack Cakes contains 28g of sugar. Yikes!

That’s more than the recommended WHO daily value! Besides sugar being listed as the first ingredient, it also contains sugar in the form of corn syrup, bleached flour, and dextrose! Consuming too much dextrose can lead to weight gain, heart disease, diabetes, skin problems, low energy, and depression!

These cakes are also full of saturated fats which are linked to an increased risk of heart disease!

In addition, TBHQ is used to extend shelf life and prevent rancidity. Studies have found TBHQ to cause liver enlargement, neurotoxic effects, convulsions, and paralysis in laboratory animals.

There are at least 10 additional ingredients that don’t resemble food at all.

Ever heard of titanium dioxide?

It’s a metal used to help define colors. It is used in products such as paints, coatings, adhesives, paper, plastics, and fabric as well as ceramics, floor coverings, roofing materials, cosmetics, toothpaste soap, water treatment agents, pharmaceuticals, food colorants, automotive products, and, sunscreen! Yikes!

Studies have shown titanium dioxide to damage DNA, which may lead to cancer!
